Dipping Chocolates

Back when Kurtis and his sister's were young, the Koch side of his family would dip chocolates for Christmas every year. Well, his family decided to bring the tradition back and we dipped chocolates yesterday. We each brought our own things we wanted to dip and pounds and pounds of chocolate. (Seriously, we used about 4 packages of Almond Bark and I swear somewhere between 8-10 packages of real milk chocolate!) It was so much fun and now we have chocolates to give coworkers and neighbors for Christmas goodies!!

Table one of chocolates....

And tables two and three full of chocolates...

Thanksgiving in Florida

For Thanksgiving this year we went to Orlando, FL with my family to hang out in the warmth at Disneyworld. We went park hopping to the Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Epcot and the Animal Kingdom!! It was go, go, go the whole trip and we felt like we needed a vacation to rest after this vacation but it was a lot of fun and a great way to spend Thanksgiving!! Thanks mom and dad for taking us and we missed not having you there Jeff and Amanda!!!

Disney's Animal Kingdom park - this is a Safari ride at the park in which we get to see wild animals close up!

This is us about to do the Bug's Life 3D - It's Tough to be a Bug! Our glasses are awesome!

Expedition Everest roller coaster ride at Animal Kingdom...best roller coaster ever!!

Eating turkey legs on Thanksgiving day at Magic Kingdom...They're huge and so good!

Tower of Terror ride at Hollywood Studios...it's like an elevator that drops you 13 stories!

The street of dancing lights at Hollywood Studios...the street was covered in millions of Christmas lights and they had fake snow coming out of machines on the top of the buildings to make it feel Christmasy!! We sat there forever enjoying the Christmas music and watching the lights blink along with the songs....it was the best!

The last day it rained and we went on the Expedition Everest in the rain and got soaked!! Here's Kurtis soaked and a shot out the car window of the downpour!!
